Art Classes Ellenbrook
Drawing And Painting
Our Ellenbrook Art Classes enable students to paint and/or draw while experimenting with a range of mediums over 6 weeks, with the opportunity to continue. They will be mentored by the accomplished local artist, Marie Hammat, who has taught and practiced for over 25 years.
Classes are organized in 6 week blocks, where students attend one, 3 hour class per week.
Students are welcome to join the course as beginners or experienced artists and many attend on an ongoing basis over time.

The next block of classes commences in January 2022 with each class having a maximum of 5 students.

All classes are taught in the artist's studio, free street parking available.

Classes are primarily for adults but can be suitable for teenagers (please make make note of being a minor on your enrolment form). Classes for kids and teenagers are occasionally run during school holidays. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.

Painting
Painting students will experiment with a range of mediums including acrylic, oil, wax and ink. The tutor believes that beginners benefit from exercises that are provided but if you wish, you may work on your own idea and the tutor will give provide feedback and advice.
Topics in the course include; Colour mixing, mixed media and more.

Drawing
Drawing students will experiment with a range of mediums including pastel, charcoal, ink and graphite. Topics in the course include; Still life and more.

Refund & Missed Class Policy
Payment for the course should be paid in advance and your place is confirmed once payment is received. Payment will be refunded if enrolment is canceled before the start of the term, otherwise no refund is permitted.
No refunds will be given for missed classes during the course term. Alternatively, replacement classes can be organised but there is no guarantee this will always be possible.
Materials Policy
Most materials will be provided but some may need to be brought by the students (for example large canvas). The students will be provided with what they need for the first lesson and if the project they choose for the future requires materials that are not provided, the tutor will discuss this further with them.
